Hi, this is me as a child. That was a long, long time ago. I
really do not remember that far back, but I do remember the importance that my parents taught me about books and reading them.
Books are wonderful things that allow us to escape from the world we live
in and have wonderful adventures or become detectives and solve mysteries, or teach us things we didn't know They allow
us to become other people, they give us insight into how others think and feel. Or take us on a great adventure or scare
the pants off of us. Books are wonderful for everyone of all ages.
Obviously I grew up and had many adventures of my own, for life is a series
of adventures for all of us, some good some not so good. But it is what makes us who we are and who we are meant to
become.
I am mother of six children. I have written a couple of books
for children and adults. I am continueing to write so new books will be added here as they come available. You can get
them here or on Amazon.com as well.
I was raised as an Air Force Brat, I was able to travel the world with my
parents as a child. I saw some very amazing things, I got to tour Europe, live in Holland and spent most of my important
teen years living in England.
I believes that my inspiration came from my children, grandchildren and
the many places I visited around the USA, England and Europe as a child.
I wrote as a teenager and young adult, you know stories that you only wrote
for yourself or shared with a select few. I started telling stories to my own children when they were very small and
now I am sharing them with the children of the world.
I began writing plays in 7th grade, but didn't really continue that until the last few years
when I began writing plays and producing and directing them. One of these plays, Jack & Jill in the Special
Wish inspired me to start writing the Jack & Jill Adventure stories for children. I wrote the play for my daughter
Clarissa Humm, who plays Jill, and her friend Stephen Eisenwasser who was the original Jack but who became Stuart for many
of the books and TV show pilot.
My children books can be read by all children, younger children they
can be read to. My new Chapter books for Children allow older children to experiences the adventures themselves.
